David Raven believes the release of the 2008-09 fixtures on Monday will provide closure after Carlisle's play-off heartache against Leeds. The defender can still scarcely come to terms with the fact the Blues missed out on promotion last term after a largely convincing campaign.
But the 23-year-old insists everyone at Brunton Park is now focussed on securing elevation to the Championship.
"What happened has been on my mind quite a lot," Raven told the Carlisle News & Star.
"It still hurts now, especially looking at Nottingham Forest and Doncaster who have got up to the Championship.
"But once the fixtures come out, it brings you back down to earth with a bump and everything is forgotten about. We've got a good core of players and it's maybe just a case of building that up."
