Atletico Madrid have admitted that they are prepared to listen to "interesting offers" for striker Sergio Aguero.
The Argentina international is one of the most highly-rated forwards in Europe following his three years at the Rojiblancos, with Chelsea seemingly leading the pack chasing his signature.
Club president Enrique Cerezo had previously stated that he intends to keep Aguero at the Vicente Calderon but it now appears they may be prepared to sell the 21-year-old.
"We will open talks if an interesting offer is made," Cerezo told French radio station RMC.
"Many people have spoken about Aguero but the truth is that Atletico have not been contacted by any suitor."
Since joining Atletico from Independiente three seasons ago, Aguero has formed a fearsome partnership with Diego Forlan, this year's recipient of the Europea Golden Boot award, and scored 42 goals in La Liga himself.

i feel sorry that the english people are that stupied
if we take the result since the name of the competition has become CL, la liga is the best
1992 barca
93 marsiell
94 milan
95 ajax
96 juve
97 dortmund
98 real
99 man u
2000 real
01 bayern
02 real
03 milan
04 porto
05 liverpool
06 barca
07 milan
08 man u
09 barca
la liga won 6 CL
serie A 4 CL
EPL 3 CL
budisliga 2 CL
1 CL for portugues, dutch and france
look i'm always the winner with la liga
i think english fans are in ranking with scots, irrish, walse and iceland
look the fact in europe say is that you are 3rd ranking, la liga by alot of distance the best
by the way man u is not the best
the first 3 are
real madrid, milan and barca each have 3 CL with the new name
messi won nothing yet(individual titles)
now messi will be sold to man city the true kings of la liga are coming Kaka and ronaldo
messi is the bull and kaka the matador
messi will follow ronaldinho's path
even maradona said in press confrence "messi is so selfish, he make everything
lovin it!!! utd scum bitter and twisted.Ronaldo won ya eveything for last 3 year and now made u 68 million profit yet you still slag him off .reading comments above great laugh about Hargreaves was the main reason u lost cl final. Hargreaves 17mil +nani 17mil +anderson 16mil + Berbatov 32mil= Ronaldo .That were ya 80mil went lol
getachew44,
the key thing is 'who is number 1?', the answer my friend is England. It doesn't matter how many premiership hand-me-downs you get, and it doesn't matter how much you live in the 1950s (when English teams were competing in the CL), they are number 1.
A second question, who is ranked number 1 in Europe since the CL started? Oh, look! It's Man United!!
look what i care is two things titles and stars
titles
who won the most CL titles?
real madrid 9 CL
which league won many titles?
la liga 12 CL
who have the best players in world?
real with ronaldo villa ribery and kaka
EPL i know you are in debt, have little dignity and alot of $h!t
don't wory we will send you some money every year to safe you @$$, keep your head up and watch la liga
getachew44 ,
are you still there!!! i realy got bored from you man!! we won the treble and u still talk about Madrid and barca . its time now for Messi to show the whole world and madrid how he will kick them in the bernabu next season again.hahahahaha messi the king getachew i feel pity on u
EPL ranked number 1 in Europe by Uefa.
getachew44,
Ronaldo is a United reject. You will see that SAF and the Glazers are laughing and drinking champagne tonight. They will buy Benzema, Valencia and Ribery with the money and be much, much stronger next season. Barcelona will also be stronger. I can Madrid losing 6-2 to Barcelona in the Bernabeu again next season and I can Madrid losing to Liverpool 4-0 again.
do you know what, i like always to listen from EPL fans
the stars are here in madrid, the title in barca and talk show with propoganda are in england
no problem keep talking we are working to win titles and you are wishing
but i'm sorry with all the money they have how many european title have chelsea and arsenal won ?
big fat ZERO
go reach PSV porto and benfica before you talk about the big teams
messi is playing with many players
now aguero in chelsea for sure will be better than messi
ronaldo and kaka are the best and together will be miles away from the rest including messi
the reason is that aguero kaka and ronaldo are players with 2 feet while messi only left foot
Generally EPL teams like physical players. It is usually big players that help win EPLs and CLs. Last season was an exception because of Ovrebo but we all know it should have been a Chelski-United final. I actually think Chelski and Liverpool were the strongest two teams in the competition and they are the most physical. I expect United to make sure they get Benzema - the most obvious SAF player. Ribery may join if the price is no more than 30-35 mil (otherwise a complete rip-off) and Valencia will join. All three are physical players. Hargreaves will be back (the main reason United lost the final) while Liverpool won't get anyone cos they're bankrupt. Chelski will probably end up signing some players from the French league. I think the CL will be won by either Chelski, Liverpool or Man U. I do have a hunch however that Real will get past the 2nd round this year which will represent significant progress for them.
that gay messi spoil the match for argentine against equador
he was so selfish
if aguero had played, argentine would have won but that gay messi make the life harder for the whole team
getachew44, Messi doesn't have to use both feet. Have you even watched the recent season? Clown...
gerrard ,torres and aguerro the job is doneeee.
aguero kaka and ronaldo are better than messi
they play with both feet while messi with only left foot
man u go to man u
all teams are buying except poor barca, they are jeoleous
to all barca fans and players don't scare we will have little mercy
kaka will show the real size of iniesta and xavi
ronaldo will end that gay messi
villa will walk over the camel known as ibra
ribery will end henry's career
I think he can join United...the same way Kaka joined Real...
And Arsenal can buy him too
i will pray a god to not bay Bracelona serbian Vidic.i love Barca but if they bay Vidic i will left them.i hope they never bay him.VIVA BARCA VIVA CATALUNIA AND VIVA KOSOVA
i am a chealse fans right from the origin, please i need villa, pato and aguero in our club to enable us win champions league.lets 4get about gatusso please my good people of chealse managment.god bless you all as you keep me remain in chealse as fan.remain bless.CHIMEZIE OKORO. OWERRI NIGERIA
