Ligue 1 - Kante leaves Nice for Greece

Panathinaikos have completed the signing of Malian defender Cedric Kante on a free transfer from Nice.
The 29-year-old, whose contract with Nice finished at the end of the season, has penned a three-year deal with the Champions League-bound side.
He is expected to be followed by Argentine Julio Cruz, a free agent after leaving Internazionale.
"It is an honour for me to get a proposal from Panathinaikos, a great team with a presence in the Champions League...I will return to Italy and discuss things with my agent then make a decision in the coming week," the striker told Greek sports daily SportDay."
