Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has signed a new long-term contract with the North London club.
The 24-year-old Pole has established himself as the Gunners' number two behind Manuel Almunia since arriving at the Emirates Stadium from Legia Warsaw in 2007.
The length of the deal was not disclosed, only that it was a "long-term" commitment.
Fabianski, who made 18 first-team appearances in all competitions last term and kept nine clean sheets, said: "I'm very happy to sign my new contract with Arsenal. It's a big motivation for me to keep working hard and shows that the club believes in me."
He added: "I'll be doing everything I can to repay that belief by helping Arsenal to win trophies in the coming years."
Fabianski broke into the senior international side in 2006 and has since become a regular in the Poland squad.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was delighted to have secured the stopper's services.
He said: "I rate Lukasz highly and I am very pleased that he has committed his future to the club.
"I believe he is a top competitor, he's intelligent and reads the game very well and has all the ingredients to be successful in his position."

arsenal fans usually insult their own players shame on arsenal
almost confirms city will be knocking arse out of big four then if thats their ambition
did you see how much Real offered Arsenal for Cesc - yeah nothing, thats what he is worth - they do not whant him. Pizza express have put in an offer -they recon he'll be good on the ovens!
Good news for the Man Utd fans.
he @#$% man he need to go back to poland man
Raimo K, trust me. He is
havent really seen him play but he cant be worse than almunia.
he is @#$% why keep him
Lukasz is a great potential future number one but needs to learn to build his confidence in goal. With this, I'm in no doubt that in years to come Lukasz will be one of the best in the English Premiership

I think in this case a donkey would talk more sense than you. You probably don't remember the save that Fabianski made in Spain when Almunia went off injured.
As a former goalkeeper I am happy Fabianski is staying long term. He has masses of confidence, is fearless and looks solid. More games will give him the experience to eliminate the occasion rash decision making. Think Grobbelaar. Almunia was the same in his early games. He looks a great prospect. Arsene knows what he is doing.
