  3. I regretfully have to conclude that SAF and company have also been disingenuous concerning Ronaldo's transfer saga. After saying that he would not sell Real a virus as recently as last December, it is plain that the transfer has been concluded between the Clubs without any comment or explanation from SAF or Man U. Further, the Glazers have said that any decision over Ronaldo was left entirely with SAF. Has anyone noticed that no official comment has been made on behalf of Man U explaining the change of mind? If it is simply a matter of the transfer fee, then why not be honest and say so?

  4. Forget six months ago this deal was done last year. Fergie could only get CR to promise to stay one more year with the proviso that he could go to Real if they still wanted him at the end of this season...all of which has happened.

I mentioned earlier today in a post that was not published that I expected him to go in the Jan transfer window. He had to go as football is too commercial now, there
is no room to attach sentiment to your assets anymore. Well done Fergie upped the price from last year and realised the profit on the asset before CR became a LIABILITY.
