Burnley defender Clarke Carlisle has hailed the club`s return to the top flight as the first phase of an "incredible revolution" at Turf Moor.
After a 33-year absence, the Clarets will be playing in the top tier of English football following their play-off final victory over Sheffield United.
Carlisle is relishing the prospect and said: "I'm delighted and I'm honoured to be a part of just lifting the spirits of the town and being part of an incredible revolution."

Completely agree about transfer updates. We (BFC) are now in the Prem so it would be nice if it was acknowledged!Perhaps being a small club they don't think it's worthwhile putting us on the transfer details page!

Isn't it about time the Premier League link was updated to show Burnley, Birmingham and Wolves and to get rid of Boro, Newcastle and West Brom?
Look at the latest transfer rumours, for example - where are the new clubs? What are Burnley doing in the transfer market?
I'm just wondering what happened to our bids for Kaka and Ronaldo ;-)
