Bristol City manager Gary Johnson is not surprised by the number of players leaving the club this summer.
The Robins have released David Noble and Jennison Myrie-Williams while Stern John has returned to Southampton following the completion of his loan deal.
Scott Murray has since departed while Chris Weale has joined Leicester and Peter Styvar is heading out on loan to Greek club Skoda Xanthi.
However, Johnson told the club`s official website: "I expected that many to leave the club, I think if you look around at most clubs that would be the average.
"There will be a lot of movement but unfortunately we are in the era of the agent. It's murder at the minute because every player seems to have two or three agents.
"Agents are speaking to lots of clubs about their players at the moment and can become very messy. It means you can't make too many bold statements as a manager about who's coming in."
