Negotiations ongoing - Grayson

Fri 12 Jun, 01:44 PM

Leeds manager Simon Grayson admits the club are deep in negotiations with potential new recruits but refused to reveal the identity of his targets.

The Elland Road side have been linked with a number of players including David Healy, Billy Sharp, Michael Mifsud and Andrew Whing.

"Negotiations are ongoing with several players and several clubs but there`s nothing firm we can say as yet," he told the club`s website.

"As everyone knows I`m not one for discussing speculation and would rather the first people know about any players be when we sign them.

"This is traditionally the quietest time of the year in terms of players."

  1. i back him all the way buddy, i think he has done a great job so far. It's just that we need to give him a bit of stick to keep him focused on the the job and on his toes. He's the one that keeps saying how big aclub leeds is and that there are loads of quality players wanting to come here, now i say let's see em! where are they? i think he's talkin @#$% to be honest, barnsley and donny are a bigger draw in some peoples eyes now, we've spent for too long in league one now so we are officially a league one club, we've not earnt the right to be called otherwise, think we might need to go back to the drawing board and rebuild from the ground up and get some quality coaches in from the continent. We need to teach the kids how to play a better more technical game.
