FOOTBALL 2006/7 UEFA Cup Tottenham Hotspur Robbie Keane - 0

The 17-year-old left-back, who signed earlier this summer from Southampton in a deal worth £10million, appeared to have hurt his thigh when he was taken off with nine minutes remaining at Richmond Park, although the injury did not look serious.

Robbie Keane scored the winner just before the break, and new signings Younes Kaboul and Darren Bent also featured.

Meanwhile, ten-man Bolton were denied victory by a late equaliser in their opening game of the Peace Cup in Seoul.

Manager Sammy Lee, who gave debuts to five of his summer signings, saw his side go down to 10 men in the 54th minute in the National Stadium in Seoul when defender Nicky Hunt was shown a straight red card after clashing with Seongnam's Brazilian striker Itamar.

There was more bad news from Bolton when Ricardo Gardner was stretchered off with a knee injury 15 minutes later, although the Premiership side grabbed the lead against the Korean champions in the 79th minute

Skipper Kevin Nolan held off a challenge in the area before poking home a half volley after Kevin Davies had flicked on an Ivan Campo free-kick.

But two minutes from time a tired-looking Bolton were caught when two of Seongnam's substitutes combined, with Kwang-Min setting up Gil-Il for a close-range equaliser.
