The German powered to a comprehensive victory, starting from pole position and winning by 14 seconds from Roldan Rodriguez.

Andreas Zuber took to the bottom step of the podium, with Vitaly Petrov, Javier Villa. Alvaro Parente, Lucas Di Grassi and Sergio Perez all finishing in the points.

ART Grand Prix man Hulkenberg secured a maximum 11-point haul with a solid start allowing him to block off Piquet GP's Rodriguez at the first corner.

Championship leader Romain Grosjean retired with a hydraulic problem, allowing Hulkenberg to cut the gap to just a single point - 40 to 39. Petrov lies a single point back.
