Former Premier League striker Carl Cort was among five trialists on show in Wycombe's pre-season friendly triumph at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.
The journeyman striker, who once cost Newcastle £7million, was joined in Peter Taylor's squad by fellow hopefuls Callum Willock, a centre-forward who has been at Peterborough and Brentford, and former Ipswich, Leeds and Cheltenham midfielder Ian Westlake.
The Blues also looked at two other unnamed trialists in the 1-0 victory.
