Hungarian goalkeeper Janos Balogh is expected to become Hearts manager Csaba Laszlo's third summer signing. The 25-year-old is set to join the Tynecastle club on a six-month loan deal from Debrecen.
Balogh's capture will bolster the squad further following the signings of David Obua and Mike Tullberg - with Laszlo tipping him to replace Steve Banks as first-choice keeper.
"We will take him at first on loan for six months, then maybe after if he is happy we can talk about a transfer," Laszlo told the Edinburgh Evening News.
"We have been looking for a first-choice goalkeeper because Steve has been doing a great job but he is the goalkeeping coach, not the real goalkeeper."
