Feillu wins stage, stays in lead

Romain Feillu of Vacansoleil won the second stage of the Tour de l'Ain in Trevoux to keep the overall lead of the race in France.
The Frenchman was pipped by compatriot Stephane Poulhies (Saur-Sojasun) on the first stage but went one better a day later to retain the yellow jersey.
Feillu crossed the line ahead of fellow Frenchmen Steve Chainel (BBox Bouygues Telecom) and Tony Gallopin (Cofidis, Le Credit En Ligne) at the end of the 138.8km stage.
Friday sees the peloton head off on the penultimate and longest stage, a 164.5km ride from Montmerle-Sur-Saone to Arbent.
