Team news ahead of the weekend's SPL clashes, with Jerome Rothen set to make his debut for Rangers as they face Motherwell.
Motherwell v Rangers (12:15)
On-loan Charlton full-back Yassin Moutaouakil is in line for his Motherwell debut in Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Rangers after signing for the club on transfer deadline day.
Shaun Hutchinson, who has signed a new three-year contract, will return after missing the draw at Aberdeen but Paul Slane (calf) will be out for several more weeks.
Darren Smith (hip) remains on the sidelines and Chris Humphrey may still be missing.
Rangers assistant manager Ally McCoist insists Kyle Lafferty is "progressing nicely" in his rehabilitation from an injury suffered on international duty but admits he is doubtful for the Light Blues' clash with Motherwell.
French winger Jerome Rothen (pictured) is set to make his debut though, after signing on loan from Paris St-Germain on transfer deadline day.
Aiden McGeady will miss Celtic's clash with Dundee United at Parkhead through suspension after being sent off in the Hoops' last outing at Hibernian.
Striker Marc-Antoine Fortune will be out for at least another six weeks with a medial ligament injury and new signing, Chinese midfielder Zheng Zhi, is still a couple of weeks away from making his debut.
Stephen McManus, who played in both Scotland's World Cup qualifiers against Macedonia and Holland after recovering from a knee injury, is in contention for his first Celtic appearance of the season.
Dundee United will have centre-half Andy Webster available after the on-loan Rangers defender was causing concern because of a groin problem.
Captain Lee Wilkie will be on the bench after proving his fitness in a behind-closed-doors game last week but Mihael Kovacevic is likely to miss out after suffering from a virus and will join long-term crocks Jon Daly, Francisco Sandaza and Kevin Smith in the stand.
Hearts v Kilmarnock
Laryea Kingston looks set to be frozen out by Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo for the game against Kilmarnock.
Midfielder Kingston angered Laszlo by revealing he would always put his country before his club after playing twice for Ghana in the past week, despite not having featured for the Jambos due to a persistent knee problem.
Hearts welcome back Andrew Driver and Jamie Mole from injury, but Callum Elliot (knee), Eggert Jonsson (hernia) and David Templeton (foot) are all recovering from surgery, while Marius Zaliukas serves the final instalment of a four-match ban.
Kilmarnock manager Jim Jefferies was waiting on fitness reports on Jamie Hamill (knee) and Danny Invincibile (back and hamstring) ahead of the trip to Hearts.
On-loan goalkeeper Mark Brown will make his debut as regular number one Alan Combe recovers from a hip operation.
Mark Burchill will undergo an operation on his Achilles on Tuesday, while Jame Fowler (hernia) and Kevin Kyle (knee) are still out, as are long-termed injured Allan Russell and Jamie Adams.
St Mirren v St Johnstone
St Mirren have no fresh injury problems for the clash with St Johnstone.
Only long-term absentee Chris Smith (knee) is unavailable for the Greenhill Road clash. Mo Camara and Chris Innes are training again but may find it difficult to break in the team following the 2-1 win at Kilmarnock.
David Mackay, Danny Grainger and Murray Davidson have all recovered from knocks. Kevin Rutkiewicz and Peter MacDonald are back in training after recovering from knee and hamstring injuries, respectively, but are not yet ready for the trip to Paisley.
Graeme Smith (thigh) and Kevin Moon (groin) are still on the sidelines alongside long-term injured Andy Jackson.
Hamilton v Hibernian (Sunday, 15:00)
Hamilton will be without defensive duo Izzy Iriekpen and Luis Rubiales after both quit the club for family reasons. Englishman Iriekpen, 27, cited family reasons for ending his five-week stay, while Rubiales only joined from Alicante last month and is understood to have returned to Spain.
Hibernian are hopeful Derek Riordan would shake off a "flu-like" bug in time for the trip to Hamilton.
Defender Sol Bamba has been sent for a scan on his knee after returning from international duty with the Ivory Coast.
Boss John Hughes is resigned to being without full-back Kevin McCann, whose comeback from 15 months out with a knee injury on the opening day of the season ended with him picking up a hamstring strain.
