Talented Everton youngster Dan Gosling has praised Leon Osman for the way the midfielder has taken to the captaincy.

The 28-year-old has a 100% winning record since wearing the armband in the abscence of Phil Neville and then Joseph Yobo.

Golsing told the club's official website: "He's been here since he was a young lad so he knows the ins and outs of the whole club.

"He prepares everyone just like Nev and Yobo. It's s been a bit strange having three captains already this season but they are all top lads.

"Ossie has got three out of three as captain and also scored a couple of goals, so he's proving himself pretty good with the armband."
