West Brom forward Ishmael Miller has backed strike-partner Luke Moore to prove the doubters wrong and fire the club to promotion this season.

Moore has failed to find top form at The Hawthorns since arriving from Aston Villa.

But Miller is urging the Baggies faithful to stick with Moore and told the Express and Star: "All of us go through bad times in football and hopefully Luke's had his.

"I was phoning him whenever I felt down and he was a big help to me.

"When I came back to pre-season he was the best player, the sharpest.

"He was really desperate to do well. He's got a niggle now, but I reckon when he is back he can keep going as he was."
