Portsmouth defender Mike Williamson insists he is not concerned about his lack of first-team action.
The 25-year-old is yet to make his debut for Pompey since signing from Watford on transfer deadline day but believes he will make the breakthrough sooner rather than later.
He said: "I never expected to join a Premier League team and walk straight into the side.
"This is a brilliant opportunity for me to prove myself on the big stage.
"I'm enjoying myself here and I'm looking forward to making my debut. I work as hard as I can in training to impress the manager and show him what I'm all about.
"I'm playing with guys I used to watch on Match of the Day so I still need a reality check now and again but I will get there sooner or later."

Now that's an honest man, no toys out, no prima donna, lets hope his chance comes and he proves himself to be as good as he was rated at Watford..
