Stockport County manager Jim Gannon will assess striker Matty McNeil ahead of their League One trip to Yeovil on Saturday.McNeil tweaked his troublesome back problem during the warm-up prior to Tuesday's FA Cup second-round replay at home to Gillingham.
He was replaced in the starting line-up by Jason Taylor as County slumped to a 2-1 defeat against the League Two side.
A reshuffle saw Gannon play highly-rated young defender Michael Raynes up front but he succumbed to a hamstring injury and was replaced on the stroke of half-time by Peter Thompson.
Northern Ireland forward Thompson is in line to be handed a striking berth at Huish Park as Stockport seek to avoid a third straight defeat.
The FA Cup exit came three days after a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of promotion rivals Peterborough.
