Rochdale boss Keith Hill is hoping to have skipper Gary Jones available for the visit of Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.The midfielder has missed the last two games after he tweaked medial knee ligaments during the recent 2-0 win over Luton.

However, he could return as Dale seek to bounce back from their humiliating FA Cup exit at non-league Forest Green in their last outing a fortnight ago.

Defender Scott Wiseman is again ruled out due to a hamstring injury and Rory McArdle serves a one-match ban.

Marcus Holness will deputise for McArdle while striker Chris Dagnall has been passed fit after shaking off a foot injury.

On-loan Cambridge striker Lee McEvilly is also available after rejoining the club for a third spell in a loan deal that will keep him at Spotland until January.
