No new worries for Gills boss

Fri 12 Dec, 11:15 AM

Gillingham manager Mark Stimson has no new injury worries for the Gills' League Two clash at Barnet on Saturday afternoon. The Gills came through Tuesday night's FA Cup win at Stockport unscathed and Stimson is therefore likely to name the same side for the fourth game in a row.

Veteran midfielder Nicky Southall is available again after being cup-tied in midweek but will have to make do with a place on the bench due to the form of Albert Jarrett and Tuesday's two-goal hero Andy Barcham.

Stimson is still without strikers Mark McCammon (hamstring) and Luis Cumbers (fractured fibula) although the former is progressing well and could be in line to return before Christmas.

Dennis Oli is set to play for the reserves against QPR next week after more than three months on the sidelines because of a foot injury.

The Gills were beaten 2-1 at Underhill last year in the FA Cup first round in a performance which Stimson believes is still "the worst since I've been here" and will be keen to avenge that defeat.
