Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson is set to hand a late fitness test to captain Russell Martin ahead of the clash with Oldham.Martin (groin) missed his first game in midweek since joining the club back in the summer as Posh beat Tranmere in the FA Cup and he is again a doubt.

Midfielder Charlie Lee will continue to fill in if required while Gabriel Zakuani is fit to play despite coming off at Prenton Park with a groin complaint.

On-loan midfielder Andrew Crofts returns after being cup-tied in midweek and left-back Tom Williams is also fit to return in place of Danny Blanchett after a knee injury.

Ferguson said: "It did take a lot out of the players on Tuesday night but I am confident they will be raring to go at the weekend."
