Stoke boss Tony Pulis is hopeful both Rory Delap and Salif Diao will declare themselves fit for Saturday's clash with Fulham at the Britannia.Delap had an injection in a bid to cure an arm injury this week, while Diao has been under treatment since limping off with a calf problem in the first half of last week's draw at Newcastle.
Neither's injuries are serious, though, and both should be in the squad to take on the Cottagers.
However, Glenn Whelan, who impressed after replacing Diao at St James', will be hoping to keep his place in midfield, while Danny Pugh is also vying for a second consecutive start.
Michael Tonge and Tom Soares are among those on stand-by should Delap be ruled out.
Ryan Shawcross will not start despite returning to training after injuring his back three weeks ago, while Dave Kitson (knee) and Liam Lawrence (ankle) are also still out.
Potters (from): Sorensen, Griffin, Sonko, Abdoulaye Faye, Higginbotham, Delap, Amdy Faye, Diao, Whelan, Pugh, Cresswell, Tonge, Sidibe, Fuller, Simonsen, Olofinjana, Cort, Davies, Soares, Dickinson, Wilkinson.
