well I must say as a fotball surporter and player back­ in the 70's when you had the c**p kicked out of­ you, some of the comments above which I read and­ thought of the thugs who wrote some stupid stuff should­ learn to love the game and not hate the people who­ don't play for their team.
I must agree with a few­ comments made however Rooney does get hot tempered ,­ but that is because he is so passionate about the game,­ the incident in the euro game was not deliberate the­ man made a challenge for the ball and lost his balance­ not just one leg but both. Please people watch your­ game of football as a neutral even though you love your­ team.

Having watched this a couple of times on the TV replays­ I can honestly say that Rooney did nothing wrong, only­ a fool would see the incedent as deliberate.
