Marit Bjoergen's incredible season continued as she took victory in the women's cross country sprint World Cup race in Davos, Switzerland.

Italy's Arianna Follis edged America's Kikkan Randall for the silver medal.

But both were a clear two seconds behind the dominant Norwegian in the final as Bjoergen picked up her 41st World Cup victory.

In the men's sprint race Sweden's Emil Joensson edged a thrilling final to take gold ahead of Russia's Alexei Petukhov and Swiss skier Dario Cologna.
