La Liga - Mourinho: Officials pick on Real
Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has accused La Liga officials of being more inclined to caution his players than their rivals and hit out at opposing fans for whistling forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
Real have several players, including defender Sergio Ramos and striker Gonzalo Higuain, out injured and midfielder Xabi Alonso and left back Marcelo will be suspended for next weekend's home game against Sevilla after picking up fifth yellow cards in Sunday's 3-1 win at Real Zaragoza.
"That's football and it happens to us a lot," said Mourinho, who has clashed with football authorities in his previous jobs in England and Italy.
"It's very easy to show yellow cards to Real Madrid players and not as many to others," he added.
"It annoys me that there are players from other clubs who can protest and we can't.
"In the same way that you have coaches who can leave their technical area and others not."
Mourinho said compatriot and La Liga top scorer Ronaldo, who scored a trademark free kick on Sunday to take his tally for the campaign to 17, deserved better treatment from rival fans.
"Cristiano is a phenomenon and it's hard to understand the way he is treated," Mourinho said.

Why Mourinho is not speaking about Ramos cruelly kicking Messi from the back on the classico ... slapping Pujol and Xavi !! ... Did Mourinho forgot that Carvalho disaalowed a through pass with his hands on the classico and the ref was to generous by just booking him (it should be a sent off) .. but the ref was merciful with Madrid as the score sheet was 4-0 ... its humanic that we always remember issues against us !!

right on spot Mourinho. Always speaking peoples mind and the truth. They can deal with it, u have express ur feelings. Some stupid coaches could pick ball by touch line and trow it away without booking, but others can't. Some team can see there their mates acting drama by falling over and all 10 players and keeper can rush down to referee to instructing him to give opponent yellow card, but others can. e.g. Barca. All i know is that they will all cry by the end of the season.

mourinho is just being mourinho, if we know him like everybody claims, we will all know that he will dominate la liga just like he did in portugal, epl and serie a , he is just too good, that is why he is the special one, if you like it or not the guy is the no 1

@#$% is wrong with u. ronaldo won the 2008 champions league in moscow and score in the final against peter cech on of the finest goalies in the world. He always preforms well in big games.

For some of girls here talking @#$% about football, just go and see stats in La Liga. C. Ronaldo was fouled 40 times compared with Messi 12 times. And adding to this there are other times when refs did not call fouls on him, and tell me how can a player be more effective. Messi's first goal (barca's 3rd on last game) was so easy, where defenders just looked at him and let him pass... it's about refs not the players. Just tell me how many times Messi was injured and left the pitch for more than one week. Remember when Ujfallushi tackled messi, the Spanish Football Association was ready to give him 3 match ban. one Last question... how can you explain the game with Inter (both games) where Messi was nowhere to be seen... what happened... Volcanic dust???

Mourinho says that Officials pick on Real, he also forgot to say that Officials give them alot of penalties. Ronaldo alone has scored 4 from PK's in La Liga. A referee recently confirmed CR7's cheating and diving antics.
The people who like Ronaldo (CR0 or whatever he's called) need to have a decent chat with a psychologist. There's so much not to like about this boy, it's obvious. Of course he's talented, very talented, yes. So? I'm a fan of Roger Federer, but if he acted the way Ronaldo does, I would find it much harder to enjoy his tennis.
And Mourinho, grow up and go live in a tent for a month, that could help you get out of all-hail-mourinho-paradise
