Struggling Watford have confirmed that fringe defender Cedric Avinel is spending the week on trial with French minnows Guegnon.The 22-year-old is training with the club - who ply their trade in the third tier of French football - with a view to a move.
Avinel was signed by the Hornets in 2007 but has made just three appearances for the first team.
