Coventry defender Ben Turner has committed his future to the Sky Blues by signing a new two-year contract to keep him at the Ricoh Arena. The 20-year-old, a product of the club's Academy, has established himself in the starting line-up recently and helped the Sky Blues to three clean sheets in a row.
The deal will keep him at the Ricoh Arena until 2011.
Chairman Ray Ranson told the club's official website: "We are obviously delighted that Ben has signed a new deal with us.
"He has fought back admirably from a long-term injury in the summer and his involvement in the starting line-up of late is a fitting reward.
"We're very happy to have retained his services over the next two years as we see young players like himself as part of the future that we are trying to build at the club."
