Double: Lexlenos and Phoenix Flight.
Jamie Spencer has been all the rage for the all-weather championship title in recent days and he looks booked for another winner with Lexlenos in the Blue Square Handicap at Kempton.
The former champion jockey may have lost his Flat title to Ryan Moore but the weight of money on him to challenge the likes of Chris Catlin and George Baker on the sand this winter obviously shows he means business.
Any mount he has is obviously worth close consideration but when he teams up with somebody like David Elsworth, a rare occurrence, the tip should be taken.
The three-year-old filly has won two of her three starts and after winning comfortably on her handicap debut last month, she looked capable of taking higher rank.
A 6lb rise seems fair enough as the horses behind her last time have franked the form and she only faces five rivals. She rates as strong nap material.
Catlin himself has a big chance of a winner when he teams up with Jeremy Noseda to ride Syrinx in the Blue Square Casino Maiden Stakes.
She cost 230,000 guineas when Michael Tabor bought her and it looked a hefty price tag after she finished last of five on her debut at Kempton in June.
There was plenty to like about her next start at Newmarket against the boys in August though.
She bumped into the top-class Ashram who opened his account at the first time of asking but only three and a bit lengths away was Syrinx in third.
Ashram subsequently won the Tattersall Stakes and finished sixth in the Dewhurst against the best juveniles of the season.
It was slightly disappointing that Syrinx could only finish fourth on her last start at Lingfield but the winner, Mark Johnston's Feeling Fab, did win a valuable nursery at the end of the turf season.
If Syrinx has strengthened up at all, she is surely capable of taking an all-weather maiden.
It is always intriguing to see Sir Mark Prescott's horses on the all-weather and the last time we saw Phoenix Flight in October he won comfortably at Great Leighs.
The handicapper, as ever with Prescott's horses, has taken no chances and bumped him up 6lb.
However, rather than try to rattle off a sequence with the son of Hawk Wing, Prescott has given him time to mature which means there could be plenty more improvement to come.
The William Hill January Sale - Better Odds! Handicap does not look the most competitive event ever run and it will be interesting to see how he gets on.
Philip Hobbs' Planet Of Sound has been mentioned in some places as a live outsider for the Arkle.
He takes the next step along that route in the Pheasant Inn Novices' Chase at Newbury and the way he jumped last time in beating I'm So Lucky suggests it will take a smart one to beat him.
Hobbs also harbours Cheltenham dreams for Cockney Trucker and it will be disappointing if he gets beaten in the Rutland Antique Centre Bakewell Novices' Hurdle.
On Raglan Road finished second in a Grade Two at Sandown last time and looks the class act in the bet365 Call 08000 322 365 Novices' Hurdle at Newcastle.
