Notts County pair Stephen Hunt and Gavin Strachan are doubts ahead of the weekend trip to Chester after injuring themselves against Darlington.Hunt was replaced at half-time during the home defeat after suffering a groin problem, while Strachan had to be substituted five minutes into the second half after sustaining a hamstring injury.
County assistant manager David Kevan said: "They were serious enough for us to bring them off and they must be doubtful for our game at Chester on Saturday."
Of the 1-0 defeat to Darlington, Kevan added: "It is very disappointing to lose our five-match unbeaten run but credit to Darlington - they are not second in the league for nothing.
"Their keeper made two excellent saves from headers in the first half and it was a cruel blow to lose a goal after that right on half-time.
"It seemed to knock the stuffing out of our lads and we appeared to run out of ideas in the second half. We certainly struggled to create chances."
