Hearts midfielder Laryea Kingston is determined to prove himself worthy of a recall after missing the team's run of three straight league wins.Kingston was on African Nations Cup duty with Ghana while caretaker-boss Stephen Frail's struggling side picked up their form in the Premier League.
Hearts have climbed above Edinburgh rivals Hibernian after their run which began with a derby victory and has been followed by wins over Aberdeen and Gretna.
Frail's troops have slipped out of both domestic cups in Kingston's absence, but their league form has been so strong that the 27-year-old playmaker may face a selection battle.
He told the club's official website: "I am looking forward to coming back to Hearts, meeting up with my team-mates again and giving 100% for the club.
"It's great that we have managed to improve our form in the league and hopefully I can get back into the team and help us keep climbing up the table."
Kingston left Accra on Wednesday and will return to Hearts' training ground on Thursday, when club medical staff will look at the ankle injury which is expected to force him out of Frail's plans for Saturday's league match at Celtic.
