Swindon manager Maurice Malpas was delighted to see his side bounce back from defeat at Huddersfield to comfortably see off Cheltenham 3-0.Goals from strike duo Simon Cox and Billy Paynter gave the hosts a two-goal half-time lead, before substitute Christian Roberts came off the bench to score within two minutes of his arrival and seal the points.

Malpas said: "I got a lot of satisfaction from the game, it was a great result.

"We were a little shaky in the first 10 or 15 minutes but we scored three goals and it was quite comfortable which is good for team morale and good for spirit.

"We don't look at league positions, we just want to concentrate on the next game which is a tough one at Nottingham Forest and I can tell you for one thing, I won't be playing three up front there.

"But there are a lot of positives to come out of this game. It was good to see Billy Paynter back on the scoresheet, and without doing the rest of my players a disservice, he is someone who seems to wake us up."
