Shrewsbury manager Gary Peters felt his side's stunning 3-3 comeback draw with MK Dons was "as good as any of our wins this season".The Shrews trailed 3-0 after just 40 minutes before Kelvin Langmead reduced the deficit for the hosts and James Constable scored a brace to secure a point for his side.
Peters said: "My team showed spirit and character and we needed that to stage our second-half fightback. We showed them much too much respect in the first half and let them come at us.
"We have been battling for several games now but we have not been defending well. We didn't take the game to them at all in the first half and paid the price but I think this draw was as good as any win we have had this season."
Peters also paid tribute to Constable, a recent signing from Kidderminster saying: "We know he can score goals and he's barely had two whole games now and come up with three goals.
"I bought him to support Dave Hibbert although Hibbert will be missing at Morecambe on Saturday after collecting five cautions."
