Manager Andy Scott has challenged Brentford to reach the play-offs after extending their unbeaten run to eight games by beating Barnet 2-1.Glenn Poole netted either side of the break to leave the Bees seven points off the top seven in League Two despite going down to 10 men following Gary Smith's dismissal.
Adam Birchall netted late on for Barnet but Brentford hung on for all three points.
"We don't want to look too far ahead but someone always comes with a late charge so why can't it be us," said Scott.
"It's going to be a monumental effort to get there but with support like we got here, there is no reason to say why we can't do it.
"The character in the changing rooms is immense. It doesn't matter who we are playing, they have got the belief that they can win any game."
