Cardiff midfielder Joe Ledley will miss this weekend's FA Cup fifth-round visit of Wolves after suffering a hamstring injury against Coventry.
The Wales international limped off after 64 minutes of the Bluebirds' goalless Championship draw at the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday night, and is set to undergo a scan to determine the extent of the damage.
"I am kicking myself really, because I was about to sub Joe off five minutes earlier as he looked a bit jaded and tired," said City manager Dave Jones.
"Joe doesn't go down easily. He overstretched and, although he will have a scan, it is not looking good because it is very sore."
There was more bad news for Jones' small squad after centre-half Glenn Loovens collected his 10th yellow card of the season against the Sky Blues.
The Dutch defender will miss the next two league fixtures, but will be available for the cup clash with Wolves at Ninian Park on Saturday.
