In addition to the classic Seven Card Stud tournament this year at Baden Grand Casino, a European Poker Championship title in Texas Hold'em will also be contested. The tournament will take place from 5 to 12 October.

While an EPT tournament has accompanied the tournament week at Baden Grand Casino for the past three years, Casinos Austria will now also be holding its own Texas Hold'em tournament. To ensure that the high-rollers can enjoy a tranquil ambience, there will also be a VIP area in the newly-renovated Baden Casino for the first time.

Casinos Austria is looking forward to an enthralling tournament week and is hoping to find two worthy European Poker Champions in 2008. The expected pot of more than 2 million is sure to attract hundreds of poker professionals to the spa town of Baden in Lower Austria.
