Thu 13 Mar, 02:30 PM

Neil Taylor and Wes Baynes have signed new deals to remain at Wrexham until the summer of 2010.The Dragons duo, both 19, have both broken into the first-team at the Racecourse Ground this season and have now pledged their future to Brian Little's side.

Midfielder Jeff Whitley, meanwhile, could make a rapid return to action after the club dismissed fears he has suffered knee ligament damage.

The experienced 32-year-old was withdrawn at half-time during Tuesday's 2-1 defeat at Wycombe with the problem, but the diagnosis is not as bad as first thought.

Whitley, who is also battling to overcome a virus, is actually suffering from pains in the knee joint and has been ordered to rest up in the hope of being fit to face Bury this weekend.
