Ipswich are still hopeful that forward Danny Haynes will win his fitness battle in time to face Charlton in the Championship on Saturday.Haynes was originally named in the starting XI to face Barnsley on Tuesday night but aggravated a groin injury in the warm-up and had to pull out.
Physio Matt Byard told the club's official website: "Danny had a slight groin injury and it flared up again on Tuesday.
"He has been responding to treatment this week and we are cautiously optimistic that he will be fit for the weekend.
"But it is likely to go down to a fitness test on the morning of the game."
