Defender Richard Keogh has revealed he "jumped at the chance" to join Cheltenham Town on loan.Keogh, who this week signed from Bristol City for a month, impressed on his debut in Tuesday night's victory at Leeds.
He becomes the third player this season to swap the Championship leaders for League One strugglers, with Alex Russell and Steve Brooker already at Whaddon Road on loan.
"I spoke with (Bristol City manager) Gary Johnson and told him I needed to play first-team football," Keogh told the club's official website.
"He agreed and asked me if I would like to come to Cheltenham on loan and so I jumped at the chance.
"It's just up the road, I know a few of the lads here and it's a great opportunity for me."
