Thu 13 Mar, 10:45 AM

Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric insists he is fully behind Ian Holloway, despite seeing the team slip into the Championship relegation zone. The Foxes dropped to third-bottom on Tuesday following a 1-0 defeat at fellow strugglers Southampton but Mandaric retains faith in his manager.

"Right now I am totally behind the manager and I hope that every supporter shares that opinion. We have to stick together," he said.

However, the US-based businessman did admit to his disappointment a the club's current plight.

"Everyone is disappointed. Every one of us who cares for the club, that supports the club, that works for the club, and everyone who is part of the community is disappointed.

"If you were to ask me if I am happy it would be a silly question to ask me. No, I am not happy.

"Now is the time to be totally united and to say that we have to be strong to get over what is taking place.

"I hope that we get that from all of our supporters. I am sure all will recognise we have quality, as we have demonstrated, but we have not been able to put it together on a consistent basis. We need their support to the last minute."
