Mathias: Daggers will be tough

Thu 13 Mar, 05:45 PM

MK Dons assistant manager Ray Mathias has insisted that the Dons won't take lowly Dagenham lightly when the two sides meet this weekend.Paul Ince's side face a huge end to the month as they host title rivals Peterborough on Good Friday before heading to Wembley for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final a week later.

But Mathias insists that John Still's side will prove tough opposition and the Dons will not be complacent.

He said: "Our game away at Dagenham in December was probably one of our hardest games this season and their results have improved since then.

"There's little difference between most teams in this league and anyone is perfectly capable of beating anyone else.

"John Still has done a great job at Dagenham so we certainly won't be taking them lightly."
