Stoke manager Tony Pulis has reiterated his desire to bring out-of-favour Portsmouth striker David Nugent to the Britannia Stadium.Pulis is desperate to bolster his attacking options with a view to securing promotion to the Premier League.
And Nugent, 22, has repeatedly been linking with a move to the Britannia Stadium, with Pulis admitting he has now formally inquired about the former Preston and Bury forward.
"We have made inquiries about Nugent, but from now on I think the best thing to do is to talk to Portsmouth," Pulis told the Sentinel.
"If it's on, it's on. If it's not, it's not."
