Port Vale chairman Bill Bratt admits he is still yet to hear from Pat Munro "one way or another" over his interest in purchasing the club.The Edinburgh businessman is reported to have held talks over a deal with Bratt, but the Valiants chairman insists he has neither received a formal bid nor seen evidence of Munro having the money required to bankroll it.

He told the Sentinel: "We are waiting to hear and, as of yet, we haven't.

"We are waiting for a formal offer, proof of funding and proof of the source of funding."

Bratt added: "As nothing has happened, it has not been much of a distraction.

"We will listen to anyone, but it has to be the right people for the right reasons. There's no timescale and there is nothing else we can do. We are waiting to hear from them one way or the other."
