Accrington twice came from behind to win their Lancashire derby with Morecambe 3-2 at the Crown Ground in League Two.

Matthew Blinkhorn's close-range header (14) put the visitors ahead, Darren Kempson (43) stabbed home an equaliser, but Michael Twiss (50) swept in to put Morecambe back in the lead.

Andrew Mangan (72) rifled a second leveller from 12 yards before Paul Mullin (pictured) put Accrington into the lead for the first time a minute later.

A Barry Conlon goal was enough to see Bradford inflict more misery on lowly Chester with a narrow 1-0 win at a windswept Deva Stadium.

The striker struck the winner on 66 minutes when a ball from Joe Colbeck was played over the top of a static Chester defence, who appealed in vain for the offside flag, and Conlon flicked past the exposed John Danby.

The strong wind made good football difficult, but it was the Bantams who seemed to cope better. They had a great chance to score on 24 minutes when Tony Dinning's backpass was picked up by Danby.

The resultant free-kick on the edge of the six-yard box was hit powerfully by Paul Evans but the Chester keeper made amends with a fine save.

Kyle Nix saw his header cleared off the line by defender James Vaughan before Conlon struck the decisive goal.

Kevin Ellison should have levelled matters on 74 minutes with a free header from only three yards, but directed his header straight at keeper Scott Loach - and Conlon almost added his second when his spectacular overhead kick cannoned back off the bar 10 minutes from time.
