Trollope disappointed by defeat

Sun 13 Apr, 04:30 PM

Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope admitted he was disappointed with his side after they lost 2-1 at relegation-threatened Bournemouth.Darren Anderton slotted home from 12 yards and Jo Kuffour smashed the ball home to put the Cherries 2-0 up.

Rickie Lambert pulled a goal back before Andy Williams, Aaron Lescott and Steve Elliot all missed easy chances to equalise.

Trollope said: "We didn't get going until after we had scored and then we played well for the last 30 minutes.

"We started well enough but then got comfortable at our pace and that wasn't good enough.

"Our response was good but I don't want a repeat of the way we played in the middle section of the game."
