Macclesfield manager Keith Alexander admitted nerves played their part in his side's display after drawing 0-0 at Mansfield.A drab encounter saw the Silkmen maintain the seven-point gap between themselves and the second-from-bottom Stags to virtually ensure their Football League survival.
Alexander said: "I'm delighted with the point.
"We were very nervous and never got going, but that said their keeper had four saves to make in the first half while ours didn't have to make one all game."
