Scunthorpe United manager Nigel Adkins has already spoken with two possible new summer signings and their agents.Adkins is also hopeful of persuading defenders Andy Butler and Marcus Williams to sign new deals at Glanford Park as the Iron begin to plot an immediate return to the Championship

Adkins told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "I have talked with a couple of players and with their agents.

"We are very, very active at the moment. I also plan to have further talks with other agents later this week."
