Tue 13 May, 02:45 PM

Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd has expressed his delight at having captain John Eustace available for the play-off second-leg date with Hull.Eustace was sent off by referee Kevin Friend after an altercation with Tigers skipper Ian Ashbee during Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Vicarage Road but has had his red card rescinded after an appeal to the Football Association.

After the game, Boothroyd said: "With the sending-off we have a situation where the Hull players are more experienced than the referee and they've talked him into a red card.

"The ball's on the floor, there are bodies around and he's gone for the ball.

"Are we not allowed to tackle any more?"

The Hornets head to the KC Stadium on Wednesday evening where they will attempt to overturn the deficit and book a place at Wembley.
