Sol Campbell and David James have returned to full training to give Portsmouth a clean bill of health ahead of Saturday's FA Cup final.Centre-back Campbell is a certain starter after resting tight hamstrings when Pompey lost 1-0 at home to Fulham on Sunday.
That was also the third consecutive match England goalkeeper James had missed with a torn calf muscle but Harry Redknapp said: "They are both ready go back in now."
David Nugent should also be fit to rejoin the squad after a groin strain and fellow forward Kanu is set to lead the attack in place of cup-tied Jermain Defoe after recovering from a thigh strain.
"I didn't want to miss any of those Premier League games and if it had been solely up to me I'd have trained to play against Blackburn a couple of weeks ago," said James.
"But, sensibly it seems, it was decided I shouldn't do that."
Pompey are odds-on with most bookmakers to beat Cardiff at Wembley but Harry Redknapp's team go into the match in the worst form of any FA Cup finalists for 45 years.
They have lost their last four Premier League games after a goalless home draw with Newcastle on April 12 - reflecting exactly Leicester City's build-up to the 1963 final against Manchester United which the Foxes lost 3-1.
They have scored just twice in six matches since the 1-0 semi-final win over West Brom on April 5 and striker John Utaka, a £7million summer buy from French club Rennes, admits his share of the blame having claimed only five goals all season.
Yet the Nigerian winger, who says he is just as happy playing down the centre even though he has rarely been given a chance there at Fratton Park, insists he is still aiming to become the team's version of Manchester United's 41-goal Cristiano Ronaldo.
"Ronaldo is a fantastic player, so talented and, like me, he's a wing-man who likes to come into the centre," said Utaka.
"But unlike me he has scored so many goals this season - and I certainly haven't got enough. I know I've got to add that to my game at Portsmouth.
"I would really like to play the role he plays for Manchester United. I've seen what he does and I keep telling myself that's what you can do but, apart from a few spectacular goals, it hasn't happened for me here yet.
"There is lots more to come, though, and I hope the fans will see it next season - and, hopefully, on Saturday as well.
"I know I have the ability within me but, like many players, I haven't been able to bring it out in my first season here.
"The manager is very supportive and has faith in me and now I must pay him back for that - along with the fans. It would be wonderful to start doing that at Wembley."
Utaka insists Pompey's poor form will not be a factor in the final.
"I don't think it matters at all. You can't win every game but we have won many this season and played some great matches," he added.
"I have a lot of respect for Cardiff. I have watched them several times and they are a decent team with very good players.
"But we have shown already that we have top players here and we are well equipped to get the victory everybody wants on Saturday. Yes, we are favourites but that's something we shouldn't even need to out."
