West Brom have signed Korean Kim Do-heon on a permanent deal, and let teenage defender James Hurst go to Portsmouth.
Kim, who has been capped by South Korea over 30 times, had already been at the Hawthorns on loan from Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma since January.
The 25-year-old midfielder made just seven appearances, only one of them from the start, and he scored his first goal for the Baggies in the 2-0 win at QPR on the final day of the season.
Going the other way out of the Albion exit door is 16-year-old James Hurst, who will join Portsmouth, with West Brom due to receive an as yet undisclosed compensatory fee for the England youth international.
Portsmouth academy coach Ian Woan said: "He is a promising right-back who our recruitment officer Alan Miller chased rigorously.
"He's got a lot of work to do but he can handle a football, he's quick and he's intelligent.
"We're all looking forward to with working with him."
