The 24-year-old Cameroon international reacted furiously after being shown a straight red card in time added on for stamping on Clarets striker Robbie Blake and has since apologised to Royals' fans for his behaviour.

An FA statement read: "The charge relates to Bikey's conduct during the Championship play-off semi-final first leg against Burnley.

"A regulatory commission will hear the case on Thursday, May 21."

Bikey, banned for four matches, missed the second-leg defeat at the Madejski Stadium and will be sidelined for the first three games of next season.
